Hello
My name is Anna, and I fell in love with Margate in 2015, after a day trip with my husband and then 8 year old son. We could see the potential - Margate was slowly becoming an arty quirky town, with amazing history. and gorgeous sandy beaches.
We never intended to buy a house in Margate, but after a series of sad events in our lives we ended up with a nest egg, and Margate was waiting for us...
After 2 years searching for the perfect place, and a couple of false starts, we found Magical Margate Townhouse. It was derelict, and I immediately saw its potential!
We had a bit of a problem though, we didn't have enough money, so I managed to sell the idea of a self-catering holiday let to my Dad, and he became a partner in our business.
2 years later, and many, many hard days of work, and with a huge amount of love from us and from our amazing local craftspeople, making some amazing friends along the way, we had created a beautiful holiday home.
Today I am your personal guide to Margate and do my utmost to make your stay at Magical Margate Townhouse the best it can be.
We have an amazing locally employed housekeeping team that keeps the house spotless. They have done a great job of ensuring that our new higher standards of covid cleaning are exceeded for each and every guest.
